Baltimore is hosting some quarterfinal games.
If I'm reading the schedule correctly, there is a chance the U.S. Could be in one of those games.

People are complaining about that but I Really think you have to look at the U.S. opponent and the other game.
It was Cuba, Jamaica and Haiti. Quite simply, not huge soccer countries like some of the other Central American countries. Even more important, those countries aren't going to be bringing in tons of fans. In 2013 the U.S. played El Salvador who has a very large population in DMV. I mean, the place was mostly rooting for El Salvador. I forget who played in the other game but maybe Honduras? Point being, I think that is the difference in attendance.
