There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Agreed. Gunnar is better defensively at 3b and so far Urias has been better defensively at 2b. So you lose defense all around the infield. The difference between Frazier and Mateos bat is not worth the downgrade in defense
Think I'd rather have Gunnar at 3B, Mateo at SS, and Urias at 2B. Other than Frazier at 2B and Mateo on the bench, can't really argue with this lineup.

Ceddy back. Bye Uncle Lester.
Just heard we went 11-9 without him. I'm not sure if that was good or bad but glad to have him back.

They were over .500 without their offensive catalyst. Given the lack of a TOR starter(s), I’d say that’s a great thing.
H/T to Aaron Hicks.

Santander is hitting well. He does not have a lot of company right now.

Rutschman definitely struggling of late. Hopefully not wearing down from early use. Hasn't been hitting the ball with much authority.
He has been streaky all year.

Re: Adley...
He's very talented... but he's 25 now, we haven't reached July yet, and it's been a mild Summer so far.
The wear and tear of catching day-to-day is real.
The majority of his value is tied to him catching.
I do think you have to wonder what he'll look like at 30. He won't be 'fresher.'
Maybe he'll simply get more time at 1st / DH, and the bat will be that much stronger without 'as much' time behind the plate.

You gotta protect the plate, Austin.
