Maryland will play their third game in five days on Saturday afternoon when they host Vermont, who currently holds a 1-0 (0-0 America East) record after beating Northern Iowa on the road in their first game of the year. The Catamounts are the best team the Terrapins will play during this opening five-game home stretch before heading to the Bahamas over Thanksgiving weekend.
John Becker is in his 11th season leading Vermont's program, and they finished the 2020-21 season with a 10-5 (10-4) record and lost in the semifinals of the America East Tournament. He's led his team to three NCAA Tournament berths since 2011-12, and would have earned a fourth if the 2020 tournament hadn't been cancelled due to COVID-19.
You can only watch this game with a subscription to the Big Ten Network+ streaming service. Access to conference-wide games starts at $14.95/month but you can purchase access to Maryland's games for $9.95/month. This is the second and final game this season that the Terrapins will play exclusively on this service.
