Arguably the single best sports day ever?

Of course, the fight will probably suck and that's what everyone cars about.

For me, I agree.

But, with the diversity of sports today and the amount of significant events, this day is probably better.

This is a day that brings in the casual sports fans because of events like the fight and the Derby.

Yeah, I agree with that. No doubt this is the most diverse day of sports.

But as someone who doesn't really care about the fight and doesn't watch NBA/NHL too intently, it's not too important for me personally.

Yep. If I remember, I will watch the Derby(hell, it's only 90ish seconds of my time).

I may be at party and watch the fight tonight but it's not thrilling to me. Don't even think it will be that good of a fight anyway.

The draft and Os game are easily the 2 things I want to watch the most. Spurs game as well but if I don't see it, no biggie.

Derby and O's for me, Clippers third.

Minimal interest in Fight.

Zero in draft.

Is it really that great?  Two sports that are no where near as popular as they used to be Boxing and Horse Racing, NFL Draft is overhyped and over covered, and don't even get me started on the NBA.  NHL playoffs on the other hand.

Agree with ChrisB's comments, about it being a diverse day of sports though, there is something for everyone.

Game 7 is easily what I care about the most here. I don't think I'll be watching the fight, but that would be a distant second with the O's third.

I couldn't possibly care any less about rounds 4-7 of the NFL draft... where pundits slobber over every pick making you wonder why they weren't a top round pick.

I'm most excited for the Caps game. Just sucks that it's at 12:30.

We did order the fight though, and of course I'll watch the O's and the Derby. As I've gotten older, I've come to really enjoy the Triple Crown races. The time commitment to enjoyment ratio for the triple crown races can't be beat.

My interest level....

NFL Draft...

Mayweather / Pac...  I'm not a boxing fan, won't be ordering the fight.... but I have read and watched a lot of the pre-fight hype... I'm interested in the results.

Game 7... would love to see the Spurs win... should be good either way.

O's game... like every other O's game, I'll be watching.

Derby... Can't pretend that I 'care', but it's interesting imagery. My wife loves and owns horses, so I like watching with her.

Hockey... The last NHL game I remember watching was NY Rangers over Vancouver for the Cup when Messier won.

Going to bar to watch the Caps, then Avengers, then driving down to DC for Game 7 and the fight but not before stopping at Laurel Park to pick up a betting slip or two. Will have to monitor the O's game from my phone unfortunately.

Oh, and apparently something is going on with the NFL today...not sure what, but whatever, I'm sure ESPN will tell me allllll about it next week.

And yes I'm very interested in the Spurs game. Hope they pull off another road win and think they do.

My dislike for the Spurs knows no bounds.  I really hate the Clippers too but the Spurs are Public Enemy #1 for me.  So "Go LA."

Well other than the Celtics, but they aren't a real basketball team right now so....

I'm interested in what my team does in the remainder of the draft, but I can't imagine being more excited to watch that then actual really good sporting events.
I can just as easily find out who they pick and get good analysis without watching at all. Or I can tune in only around when they're picking, which I'll only do if I'm bored.

This is so interesting to read. Seriously.

i LOVE the Derby, love it. I mean, LOVE it. It's the busiest day of the year in my business.

it's probably my second or third day of the year after Thursday & Friday and Opening Day.

And at the same time, most others couldn't care less.

You couldn't pay me to watch the 5th round of the NFL draft, yet, some live for it.

it's awesome.

Don't really care about watching either, but at least the Derby isn't much of a time commitment.

I'm not a hockey fan, but I'd rather watch that too than the Derby or draft. Playoff hockey is fun, I don't get into it more due to a desire to have somewhat of a life during this time of year more than anything else.
