I do not give out "likes" nearly enough

I actually laughed out loud (literally) when I got a PM from Tony explaining to me why I'd been a bad boy and that if I turned my act around, he would get me back with a positive rep.
Anyway, I realized today that the rep system here is much more palatable, much more friendly. Folks have been very generous in handing me likes even though I don't consider myself to be some great poster.
It was then I realized that we have a TON of great members here who write a TON of great posts and that I have not given out as much as I have received. This goes against the spirit of the system.
I hereby promise to my BSL brethren that I will be much more generous in handing the likes out. Not FishTeacher generous (who could be?) but I will step my game up.
You all deserve it.

Actually, don't answer that. I know and don't particularly like the answer.
Anywho, good post. I agree with ya.

I like getting likes too. No real reason, just enjoy them and it makes me happy. I like to give likes too, and I hope that it brings a small amount of joy to the poster who received said like.
It's an angry world out there, take time to "like" people's posts.
FYI: I got neg liked thrice at OH..Once by Weber like 10 years ago before we were "friends", and the other two by Tony.

Do you recall what for? I honestly don't recall giving out or receiving rep in any specific instances.
No idea, but I remember whatever it was actually was the start of our cyber friendship. Sort of like a bar room brawl and we ended up having a beer together afterwards..
Not really, but that sounded good.

Me too... per week... at about 30 whatever-they-were a pop... I guess they were behavior-mod tokens, or something like that....
So did Boy Howdy just for agreeing with me sometimes, which was pretty sick.... somebody didn't want him to get a bird...
I like a lot more posts that I signify... I just rarely think about doing it... dunno why...

I'd like to encourage people to like more of the content of our Analysts.
Think we have a great group right now...

That put in a lot of work with their efforts... let them know it's appreciated (and also help us get additional eyes on their contributions via Social Media, and posting elsewhere).

Mack is the new rep king. Feels much better that way since I think you really are the best poster here... so congrats Pal!

Yea, I mean I think I'm the best poster here, but who knows if I'm right.
Btw, I would like to believe I have stuck by my original post and have given out more likes, but no way to be sure. I have been more conscientious of it...I think.
Coining the term MIMS has pretty much caused 50% of my likes.

It worked again.
We also use it in our house when discussing the O's catcher. So, yeah.

Lead will be short lived I'm sure once Gamethread season picks up and you get back on top. I'll be certain to let it go to my head while it lasts, though.
