Sounds like Ridley could be cut.

I picked up James White hoping that he is.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Sounds like some Boston blowhard reporter trying to get clicks and drum up controversy.

But the projection comes from ace beat man Mike Reiss, who is not prone to hyperbole.

I don't know if that is the case.

Ridley is a known fumbler which Belichick loathes.

We'll see. I know he hates fumbles (who doesnt?) But it would suprise me if there wasnt some other underlying issue if they do in fact cut him. You cut a fringe guy for fumbles in preseason. Not your starting RB.

Maybe they like James White more.

I agree it will be quite a surprise.

But they wouldn't be cutting him for his fumbles in the preseason.  It'd be his long established history of coughing it up, and that it isn't showing enough improvement in the preseason and training camp.

Ultimately I'd be surprised if he's cut as well, but I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up buried on the depth chart and eventually traded for a late pick.

That seems like a more likely scenario.

Patriots traded for Tim Wright.

They say it's not connected to Gronk's health but it doesn't hurt to have another TE in case he does get hurt.

Right played well with Glennon and Freeman throwing the ball in TB last year. He should be a solid TE with potential for more.

Pats up 30-7 on Minnesota.

Says something for the AFC, that I'm not convinced the Patriots are that good... and there is a reasonable argument for them being the 2nd best team in the conference.

A reporter actually asked Belichick if he would have replaced Brady last night had he been bad enough.
