Seems like every MLB team is going with matte batting helmets this year, including the Orioles.

So what'd you guys think of these?  Any of them that you actually like? Brewers shirt looks good, so does the A's.  I also like the White Sox and Rockies shirts.

I originally wasn't real excited by the nicknames... but the players certainly enjoyed them, and I thought that was cool.

I also thought all the extra color on display (including the bats, and some of the socks... Boston's socks were interesting) visually popped out on tv.

I would think the jersey's are a bit Little League ish if someone attempted to use them FT....  but think they should go into the rotation as occasional alternates.  (Assume they will probably keep this weekend with the nicknames going forward.)

Mariners looked like little league out there. Committed 5 errors in the 1st inning Sunday. lol.

 

O's jerseys I'm not a fan of. Maybe a different color scheme is needed. Orange with black sleeve maybe. 

 

Like the Cards jerseys the best, but I think they have the best regular uni too anyway. Agree with Duff. Brewers and A's are sharp too.

I love the Texas and Minnesota caps, with the letters and the state outlines. Those should be their full-time ones.

They look like the crappy 3D NBA and NHL jerseys from the mid-90's.

The Colt .45s name was always dumb. It should have just been the Colts, then if they decided they didn't want to use the firearm imagery anymore, they could have switched to a horse, or cowboy, or *enter generic western theme here*. The logo is awesome, though.

 

The best decision, though, wasn't renaming the team the Astros. It was renaming them the Astronauts, immediately recognizing that it would be shortened anyway, and going with the shortened version from the start.

This is lazy ugly work from Nike.   Taking the same design and using it for all of the teams participating is weak.  If they can't take the time/effort to make some better sweaters then let someone else do it.

Yeah, that's awful. Looks like they had an intern from their basketball division create an InDesign template and just change the colors/names.
