Matusz is literally the worst pitcher on the team vs righties.

He has the 9th worst wOBA in all of baseball vs righties..and many of the guys ahead of him are/were hurt or in the minors.

You are quite literally one of the biggest toolbags I've ever heard from....we lose 1 game and you piss all over this team.  It's just unreal.  We just played one of hte toughest stretches (at least looking at the competition) and we went 17-9 I think...it's just uncanny how much you hate on the team you say you love. 

 

However, with that said, the fact Matusz is STILL on this team is an utter fucking joke...he is pathetic.

All I had to do was read the preview in my user CP to know who you were addressing. We didn't hit a guy who's allowed 3 earned runs TOTAL since July 19. OH NOZ!!!!!!!!!

I can honestly say that the majority of you who start shit every night, sometimes when I'm not even around, are the huge assholes.


I said we were going to have a losing trip , not go 0-9 or 1-8.Besides the fact that we just started off with a loss we are:

A. Missing easily our best offensive player over the last 6-7 weeks.


B. Have to start UJ twice. Hes a disaster who shouldn't be in the rotation.


Not to mention the other holes we've hidden with a ton of close wins recently. We are due for an iffy stretch and while I'm not sure how well the stats back me up it sure as hell feels like we play down to the competition as well as we play up to it.


The first one of you who really wants to step up and put his money behind the bullshit. I'll have a $50 check written with your name that'll be sent the day the Os win their 5th game on the trip. I'll expect the same once they get home without it.

Kluber is one of the best pitchers in the game right now. Chen pitched well yet again. They arent playing down (to a team with only 9 less wins). They just got beat. Its going to happen 15-20 more times too. Not the end of the world.

My quick, pre-coffee math says the O's are 30-20 against teams with a sub-.500 record. And for the sake of the argument I included Cleveland (who were at .500 prior to yesterday's game and are now a game over .500) and Tampa (right at .500 now).

Is a .600 winning percentage, against inferior teams, considered "playing down to your competition"?
