There has to be a better fit for Kubiaks system than Taylor.


I mean Taylor is bad in general, but there are QBs out there who would play up in his system. Go find one.

I'm guessing that Wenning gets a long look next game and if nothing below Joe looks capable we start to explore the backup avenues

On that INT by Asa Jackson, he played in a cover 3  where each CB and the FS split the field into thirds. The CB is supposed to show press coverage on outside WR and then drop into zone.Not sure what Gabbert was thinking when he threw it. Maybe he thought Asa was playing man coverage on the outside receiver and that he had the TE open? Best I could do to illustrate it.

Good thing it is preseason. If you look at the other side of the field on the Jackson INT, a receiver was wide open
