Sea should fade in the WC race so I still think the #2 AL East team should be in great position to get it.
I don't want anything to do with that one game playoff. This is the best opportunity we'll have for the next decade to win the division.

Agreed, which is why DD needs to go all out for it.

Hosted a poker tournament at my place last night... had the O's game on... took the tournament home right as Davis homered in the 10th... that's a pretty damn good Friday night.

Buck just gave him a shoutout.
He's doing a great job!!
Grew up with him, really happy he got this gig. He umped for a while, did a show with Chris Hoiles for a while, just always wanted to be around the game.
We played Baseball in his court literally 5 days a week from April/September growing up. Good memories, good dude.

I grew up in a townhouse development and we used to have pick up baseball games all summer, sandlot style. Great, great memories.
As for Gladstone... he's pretty amazing. Buck is conviced MLB is going to pick him off and put him in the control center in New York next year...

It's awesome to have those memories, and even when we all see each other now, it's the first thing we talk and joke about.
He's been terrific. A mutual friend talked to him in Anaheim, and he said he LOVES what he's doing.. I hope he stays, but that would be tough to turn that chance down.
