He needs to move up to Frederick immediately after the ASG. Needs to produce in a league where he's not almost two years older than the average player and when he does, he'll start getting some attention as a legit prospect.

MASN: Graham on Yaz: "What you see with him is a very complete baseball player"

If this kid had a sexy draft status there'd be more hype. He's forcing people to notice him, he's handled it at every level so far....I know, I know, he's been older than the competition but whatever. He's impressed everywhere he's been so far.
I know the chances are against him, but I hope he's the real deal.

Not an above-average starting outfielder, IMO, but could be a very valuable 4th OF type. I've been impressed with him. Extremely high baseball IQ.

Based on what I've read...
I forget who used Nate McClouth as a comp, but McClouth had much better speed, while Yaz a far better arm. It's hard to say what Yaz can be, but for now I'd agree that he profiles as a 4th outfielder.
Defensively, Yaz should be able to play all three positions well, as despite less than ideal speed- he tracks the ball well and has an above average arm.
His hit tool looks to be solid, and he could swipe 15-20 bases or so as a regular, but unless he develops more power he seems relegated to the aforementioned reserve role. Time will tell... but I'm glad to have him.

Given his last name, if he makes more strides, I think he'll be hyped up.
