@jeanninee12 Lorde, Nas, Counting Crows, etc will be performing at Pimlico next weekend for #Preakness. But the star of the show is California Chrome

California Chrome
Ride On Curlin
Straight Exacta. Cold.
If you must bet the race, that's the only way to go in my opinion. Hopefully the Exacta pays $14.00 or so, and if you play it for $200 straight, you'd get back $1400....$100, you'd get $700....etc.

I wonder how well the track will dry out after the coming rains.

I've lived in this area for nearly 30 years (basically as long as I've been alive), I've never been to the Preakness, am I missing out?

Not anymore. A few years ago, yes.

Well, probably no track problems. Big difference now from yesterday's forecast, when it was supposed to rain all day and night today. I have never been to the race, but I never expected to be, growing up poor in the sticks downstate. The whole infield party aspect of things was never really something I thought about, because I was into the race itself.

Ive only ever put my last few bucks after a bad night at the casino on a random horse, or dog, at the racebook

Anyone seen that show "Horse Players"? Im getting that itch to learn how to read a program (is that what its called that lists the days horses and races?) and bet on some ponies. Looks like a lot of fun if you really learn the right way.

It's a lot of fun, handicapping the races.

I hope General A Rod comes in last by a mile based on name alone.

That was a phenomenal race.

CC seems like the kind of horse that Belmont favors. We'll see. I hope it's good weather and he stays healthy. Also, I have zero clue what I'm talking about when it comes to horse racing.

I know a few people who made money today as they were riding those two hard.

It's just brutal running 3 races over 6 weeks too.
