In fact, I thought it was funny when he removed O'Day who had given up something like one hit all year to a lefty, in favor of Patton, to pitch to Gonzalez and the Papi the next inning (leadoff double).

Mentioned the same thing in the game thread, completely agree.

Once they get through this series and the bullpen is back to normal rest (IF) you'll probably see Pomeranz go back down or Gregg sent packing. I can't see any other pitchers going unless the O's get revolutionary (the Angels did it one year) and go for the best 7 instead of worrying about the lefty matchup thing. That could mean keeping Pomeranz and moving Patton, who isn't a true matchup guy anyway. Strictly based off of last night and what he has done in the minors thus far this yearm Pomeranz is in my BP over Patton...but no way the old school Buck Showalter has no lefties in his BP.

No, plus Patton is definitely serviceable, cheap, and has tons of service time left. The finger keeps pointing at Kevin Gregg.

Sounds like Berken has been sent back down and Zach Phillips is up.

Interesting. Guess Pomeranz or Phillips (more likely) goes back down when we need a starter (Eveland or Pineiro) on Friday.

Looks like it's going to be Eveland on Friday. But, he's not on the 40-man roster. Who goes?

Could Teagarden be put on the 60-day DL retroactive to the start of the season?

It would make sense to transfer Teagarden to the 60-day DL to open up that spot on the 40 man, but I can also see the team just sending Gregg packing at this point. Or trading him for a PTBNL - which would likely amount to a guy named peanut with a tweety bird tattoo on his right ass cheek.
