Not sure why Chavez is leading off. Maybe Buck just feels Andino is more comfortable in the 9 hole.

The O's should score some runs today against Cook. Get to him, and their bullpen early.

.775 career OPS against, 1.28 career G/F ratio, has allowed 1,519 hits in 1,312 career ip. Been progressively worse the last 3 years, this is his first MLB outing of 2012.

I figured it was his first outing. Don't know too much about the guy. Thanks Chris! Good work as always.

Gonzalez goes to LF for a double. Pedroia stopped at 3rd. 2 in scoring position, 2 out.

A lot of pitches for Hammel so far. I know about the 9 pitch at bat for Punto but is it control issue? Good plate discipline?

Sox made him work with good ab's. Zone a little tight.

Inning ends as Aviles goes up the middle.. Andino makes the play.

Who is the plate ump? Usually you know how the zone is going to be based on the ump.
