What lineup do you want to see today?

I think it's time to lower JJ in the lineup and move Andino up. I guess Buck likes Andino in the #9 hole as that sort of "2nd leadoff" hitter, but I've never really understood that logic.

I'd go with:

DH Reimold
2B Andino
RF Markakis
CF Jones
C Wieters
1B Davis
3B Reynolds
SS Hardy
LF Chavez

I doubt that'll happen though, so switch Andino and Hardy and that's probably close to what we're gonna see.

Orioles
Reimold LF
Hardy SS
Markakis RF
Jones CF
Wieters C
Davis 1B
Betemit 3B
Reynolds DH
Andino 2B

Yankees:
Jeter SS
Granderson CF
Rodriguez DH
Cano 2B
Teixeira 1B
Ibanez RF
Chavez 3B
Martin C
Nunez LF

So, I guess since this is the fourth-straight game, and seventh in the past eight, where Reynolds has not played at third, Showalter is declaring him done?

What? You'd rather give AB's to Chavez over Flaherty? You had me until that.

Love to win this first game of the road trip. Get that first win against the Yanks.
A couple of early runs would help.

Yep, and I like how he hasn't thrown him under the bus in the media by declaring anything. But what's that quote he used during his presser when he came on board as the O's skipper? Something like, "What you do speaks so loudly that I cannot hear what you say."

Sounds about right.

How cool would it be for Buck to get his 1,000th win at Yankee Stadium tonight where it all started for him?

Nice to be excited for a game. I bet the train up to NY was fun for the players.

Yep, that would be a sweet 1,000th win.

Of course Nunez makes that play. Nice catch coming in Markakis.

Yanks coming up in the bottom of the 1st.

As best I can tell, this is Kuroda's first career start against the O's. I expect this first time through the line up to be pretty tough on the O's. His delivery is quirky and it may take these guys a couple AB's to get used to it.

There will be headlines everywhere tomorrow, if Hammel is strong again tonight.
