They're giving out free foam fingers to the students tonight. Should be fun.

Isn't that one of those things that will make the crowd less noisy?

I expect a very convincing win tonight. Last 3 games have been quite positive, despite the 1-2 record. I think we win by 20 and get confidence to a season-high heading into the Syracuse game. Honestly, even if this season had been going as positively as any of us had hoped and we were consistently in the top 20-25 rankings, I think the last 3 games could've played out the exact same way and there wouldn't be much questioning or disappointment in the level of play. It just wouldn't feel like a small (and meaningless) step forward like it does compared to the disaster that has been the season up until this point.
I'm personally hoping that Syracuse wins at Duke on Saturday and stays undefeated. One reason is because there isn't any game that I ever root for Duke to win, but second is that I like our odds of beating a undefeated 'Cuse squad coming off probably their toughest game of the season moreso than a 1-loss 'Cuse squad coming off of their first defeat.

Washington Post: In seven minutes against Duke, Dodd was 'tremendous'.

Let's see if he can follow that up tonight.

Yeah, probably. They're giving out free t-shirts vs. Syracuse (it's the Gold Rush game).

Maybe this'll convince Turgeon to give him minutes. Can't understand his reluctance here. Not like Graham or Cleare are that much better. Dodd has upside.

Yeah, that I like... looks cool, and frees up their hands to make some noise.

I disagree that Dodd was tremendous. I thought he was pretty bad. Haven't rewatched specifically looking for his play, but I thought he was often out of position defensively, but Duke doesn't have the inside guys to have taken advantage of it.
I'd probably play him ahead of Cleare, but that's more about an investment in Dodd's development than helping the current team. I still think Graham is better than him right now defensively and on the glass. Neither is any good offensively.

Roll Wake tonight, get back to .500 in league play, and prepare for 'Cuse.

I want to see how the Terps come out to start. Will they be flat after the tough loss at Duke or come out fired up? Being in front of the home crowd, I'm expecting them to be fired up and start with a lot of intensity out of the gate.

Missed 3 from Allen leads to a run out from Wake to tie the game.
