I see it's 630-10. Seems like a great time, but I got the show until 9.

Cerrano, have you taken uber before?  If not, there are billions of discount codes online for a free ride.  Goog it.

Yea I used them a lot earlier this summer in Chicago, Seattle and LA.  Can I still use the codes even if I've used it before?

THS probably won't go on until 8 at the earliest but yea, it definitely conflicts with your show.

I doubt it. I'd download the hotel tonight app and find a place in the city for the night. A weeknight will be really cheap.

Screw that, just go crash at Mack's place and trash it while drinking that 30 pack of piss beer. :P

Has anyone actually been to one of these? How much are the beers?

You don't have to deal with the dealers
Let your boyfriend deal with the dealers
It only gets inconvenient
When you want to get high alone

You don't have to know how to get home
Let your boyfriend tell the driver the best way to go
It only gets kind of weird
When you wanna go home alone

You don't have to know the inspiring people
Let your boyfriend know the inspiring people
You can hang in the kitchen
Talk about the stars and the upcoming sequel

If you get tired of your boyfriend's things
There's always other boys, there's always other boyfriends
If you get tired of your boyfriend's scene
There's always other scenes, there's always other boyfriends

You don't have to deal with the dealers
Let your boyfriend deal with the dealers
It only gets inconvenient
When you want to get high alone

You don't have to go to the right kind of schools
Let your boyfriend come from the right kind of schools
You can wear his old sweatshirt
You can cover yourself like a bruise

If you get tired of your boyfriend's things
There's always other boys, there's always other boyfriends
If you get tired of your football friends
There's always other boys, there's always other boyfriends

If you get tired of the the car he drives
There's always other boys, you can make him like you
If you get tired of the music he likes
There's always other boys, you can make him like you

They say you don't have a problem until you start to do it alone
They say you don't have a problem until you start bringing it home
They say you don't have a problem until you start sleeping alone

There's always other boys, there's always other boyfriends
There's always other boys, you can make him like you

I'm finally working myself through their catalog. I'm nearly through "Heaven Is Whenever." So far, I'd say "Boys And Girls In America" is probably my favorite, but everything I've listened to is very good. I actually like the guy's voice quite a bit when he actually sings, but I dig his overall style, too. Instrumentation is fantastic. Lyrics are very good.

They are definitely unique, which is their best characteristic, IMO. Of modern music, they remind me most of DMB or a little of Adam Duritz from Counting Crows. But the story telling style obviously reminds me of Dylan or Springsteen.

Boys and Girls is also my favorite.  Most fans prefer Separation Sunday, but Boys and Girls is a tad more consistent.  They are both classic albums.

Don't see the DMB or Counting Crows comparisons but glad you're enjoying them.

Yea and this is a thread about them, aka, where people who like them can talk about them.

You're just trolling.

Every song of theirs has at least one memorable line.

Meet me right in front of the Rainbow Foods

I got a brown paper bag and black buckled shoes

And if anything seems weird then just cruise

Also, Ricker, not sure which version you're listening to but on the expanded album there is a track called "Girls Like Status" -- it's a can't miss if you haven't heard it.

Most people love SS because it's grittier, the lyrics are better and it tells a story.

Boys and Girls has a slightly more advanced sound but still captures their earlier, rawer days.

The lyrics are fantastic, you're right. And I'm a sucker for good lyrics.

I enjoy all their albums, just don't listen to them anywhere near the frequency I do SS. I'll throw on Boys and Girls when I get back in the car.
