Don't know what happened to my post...but I think I read that some knocks on Barr are that he is an "I" guy. And they don't feel he's very mature.
If you follow Russ Lande at all, I believe he's been giving good reports on his character. The concerns with him are all about his lack of instincts, questions about defending the run (specifically, runs towards him where he's not in pursuit), and his flexibility to bend the edge since he's seen as more of a straight line speed guy.
