So Sanu goes to the Bengals after all.

Odds he thought it was another prank?

If I were him, that thought would've gone through my head.

Another good pick for the Steelers. They have improved.

Saints take a DT out of the University of Regina in Canada.

Props to anyone that knew that that university exited, let alone where it is.

I've noticed that Bobby Massie from Ole Miss has been on the board for a while, and Kiper had him as his best available. Any reason why nobody has picked him yet?

My understanding is that there are some character concerns with Massie. Kind of the opposite of the cliches we always hear: "Plays through the whistle", "Explodes off the ball", etc. So he's a huge talent, but doesn't always put his best foot forward evidently.

Miller is a great pick at this point in the draft. Real HR ability for the Dolphins.

The Redskins taking Cousins is just odd to me. If you are concerned about RG3's durability, you can't trade what they traded to get RG3. They have an abundance of needs, taking a backup QB here is just poor.

Lots of value though..may be able to trade him down the road...for right now, it is poor though.

That's former NYJ star WR Al Toon's son.

Apparently, when he was born, Al and his wife decided to "name that Toon". They decided against naming him Carlton for fear that people would nickname him Car, and he'd end up as Car Toon.

I doubt it was in the plan, but I like to see them identifying and grabbing a talented player who dropped. It's clear to everyone that RGIII is the man in Washington, but every team needs a quality backup. Right now we have Rex Grossman. I think the idea here is that Cousins is a talented blank slate who can be groomed into a QB who fits Shanny's system. Next year they can let Rex walk and have Cousins step in as the primary backup. If RGIII gets injured or is ineffective, you've got a guy you have been working with from the beginning to step in. If Cousins just ends up wearing a baseball cap for 4 years, then you potentially have a Kolb/Cassel/Flynn situation on your hands and you might be able to get something for him. Either way, you've improved your depth and you got good value doing it.

I'm just elated that Tommy Pickles made something out of himself.
