Is there any recognition of the Super Bowl V victory in M&T?  Or does that banner hang undeservedly in Indy?

What about the NFL titles pre-merger?

All that is probably in Indy.
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Bastards.  I was two years old, living in Virginia Beach when the  move happened, and I still hate Bob Irsay with every fiber of my being.

Interesting line from the Alouettes' Wiki page:

The Alouettes and the CFL, however, do not recognize the Baltimore franchise, or its records, as part of the official team history.

Sounds like something open for a claim...

Reading that article now.

Today is the 20th anniversary of the Grey Cup win.

Pretty crazy how much has happened in pro (and college) sports in Baltimore since that occurred.

Doesn't the SB V Lombardi reside in the Sports Legends museum? (or it did, and should again once they find a new home)

We went to a lot of the Stallion games.

I remember thinking it was great to be back in the old stadium for football and it was a pretty good product.

The Stallions were exciting, plus a lot of the old Colt fans, me included, were starved for football.  I remember the Big Wheel being there leading cheers and Matte and Garceau were involved.

I don't see the Ravens doing anything for them, because if I recall right the Original plan was to call the Stallions the Colts or the CFL colts and the NFL and the jerk Irsay family really fought that.

I think it got pretty acrimonious, between the Stallions and the NFL.

I remember feeling bad for Jim Speros, because he was building something, but when the Ravens came it ended for the Stallions very quickly.

Good Article.
