Saturday finally saw Jay Pharoah doing his Stephen A. Smith pardoy.  That was gold, Jerry.  Gold.  Had me in stitches.

Of course I saw earlier today that Skip Bayless was a little butt-hurt his buddy got goofed on.  Which makes it even better, in my mind.

He's done it before on the show.

The Jos. A Bank commercial was amazing.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

@JimGaffigan Don’t you feel like Joseph A. Banks is about to say, “Okay, fine you can have the suits for free?”

Anna Kendrick?

Yeah, you may have worked your way into my "Celebrity List."

Too crude? Meh, it's true.

Lemme get two claps and a Ric Flair

Yeah, as Charlie Young would say, she is a fiiine lookin' woman.

That wasn't too bad an episode. I liked the Little Mermaid sketch.

EDIT: Forgot about George R.R. Martin during Update. That was pretty good. Even if he does set the next book in Denver, I'll read it.

Caught up on some of the sketches, I loved Jay Pharoah with the random Ruby Rod there at the end of the one.

Kenan's Neil deGrasse Tyson wasn't that bad compared to what he usually does.

So for the Seth Rogan episode, SNL went looking for a musical guest who looks even more like a stoner than he does.

You gotta give them credit for that, that's a hard kind of person to find.

He actually wasn't too bad. Which in SNL terms generally means I didn't hurt myself diving for the remote, but still :P

Let's see if Update improves tonight.

The Holiday ReporterNBC Plans 'Saturday Night Live' 40th Anniversary Special for 2015

Timed to the franchise's 40th anniversary, the three-hour broadcast will air Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015, from 8-11 p.m., NBC announced Friday.

I needed a lot of advanced notice for this, I hope I'm not busy that night!

My final 4 is Murphy, Farley, Ferrell and Wiig.

My champ is Will Ferrell. He may not have the iconic characters like Myers, Farley, Carvey, Murphy or others, but the ratio of funny skits he was in had to be top 3. Plus, that was probably the time that I watched SNL the most, although I have been a big fan of the show since the early 90's.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

I've seen my fair share of the early SNL days, when Belushi, Crystal and Chase were on it...not funny to me.

Murphy was hilarious in everything, but those other guys weren't. It wasn't my kind of humor.

I also watched Caddyshack years ago, didn't laugh once and turned it off.

Kristen Wiig is a #1 seed? She is probably the least funny person on the planet. I know comedy is completely subjective, but her brand of comedy does absolutely nothing for me.
