This is kiiiiiiinda political, but if you haven't seen the "Black Jeopardy" sketch from SNL, it's -fantastic-. And it's gotten love from all sides.

Anybody who got their panties in a bunch about that sketch, well, fuck'em if they can't take a joke... that whole damn thing was a hoot... in large part because of how it was dripping with truth that's been hiding in plain sight

For once, I'll actually tune into SNL if Dave is hosting.

It must suck to be Solange Knowles. Some people live in their sibling's shadow, and then theres this.

And just when I'm about to yawn, you have Dana Carvey singing next to a shirtless pic of Putin.

So is this Saturday's SNL going to be the highest-rated SNL ever? Or the highest-rated television program ever?

Last night's SNL with Dave Chappelle was perfect in every way.

Caught up on some TV last night. Season finale of SNL with The Rock hosting was fantastic. The Mad Scientist Convention sketch pushed the envelope between uncomfortable and hilarious. It was both. Surprised it made it though to air, and that no one broke during the sketch. It was an all-timer for all the right, and some wrong reasons.

I'm sad that Bobby Moynahan is leaving, but I'm REALLY sad that Vanessa Bayer is leaving.

Don't worry, Kenan is sticking around.  I don't think he'll ever leave.

Why would he? He's great at what he does, works at a place that prizes institutional memory, and hasn't had a lot of success outside of SNL (and only has to look at Kel when he buys the morning paper from him to see what that can mean).

They are going to have to haul him out of 8H on a stretcher.

I dunno, I don't dislike him (Kenan & Kel nostalgia probably playing into that), I just find him rather boring.  He does what he's asked to do and is reliable I suppose.  I think that is the key though, he didn't get his start from SNL and want to try to branch into new things, I think SNL was his landing spot after his career hit a bit of a downward slump.  And he is not included in outside SNL endeavors the way other cast members are.

But yeah, he's definitely not leaving of his own free will.

Keenan is basically Darrell Hammond. Nothing wrong with that. Keenan is great at what he does.

I almost shed a tear when I watched the opening credits of the premiere and Beck Bennett led off instead of Vanessa Bayer.

Ryan Gosling needs to host every year. He breaks in everything, but he's a good enough actor that you know it's sincere.
