That's a good break. It'd be great to steal this win.

Carter being out has to help MD on the boards at the minimum. A game MD needs to win.

I'd say at this point they need to win pretty much win every game -- knowing of course, that is unlikely to happen. I underestimated this team earlier in the year and because of the GW/Boston U/UConn losses -- the UConn loss with winning the other two wouldn't have made this a "needed" win. And because you don't expect them to beat a team like Duke at Cameron, it does raise the importance for this kind of game.

Yeah, I wasn't even referring to needing the win for improving post-season chances.. I was saying with a home game, against a conference team (in a game you are likely a slight favorite)... just a game you need to have.

Good timing for the game with the NFL playoff game beginning at 4:30.

I'd imagine they would be being at home since home court is so big in college and with that injury to GT. Not saying it would be a substantial upset if they lost, but there has to be a substantial difference for the home team not to be favored. Michigan was favored against UofA (at Michigan), Colorado was favored against KU until a last second injury changed that (at Colorado).

It's irrelevant for MD, and we're pretty awful. I admittedly haven't watched GaTech though.

Yeah my point is though for them not to be favored, there would have to be a significant difference between the two teams. I looked over GT's stats before I said that. I really have no idea, but my guess is they'll be favored by a few. Sure someone who knows more about gambling could give a more prediction.

I imagine they would be a pick'em on a neutral court, MD 3 point favorite at home. Just a guess.

I actually think GT would be favored on a neutral court and I was thinking 2 points at MD. Just a guess on my part as well.

How on earth is Daniel Miller still there?  I feel like he's been playing for about 10 years.

He'll put up 15 and 10, GT will build a double digit lead in the first, MD will cut to about 5 in the 2nd, and GT will win by 5-10.  Hope I'm wrong.  Go Terps!

Because Ricker asked

Terps are 8.5 favs, both Stoner/I were off on this, guess that's why neither of us is an oddsmaker.

Line likely jumped with Carter being out, but yeah.
