It's been a long time. This sucks. No reason they should have missed the playoffs this season, other than they simply underachieved. It will be a busy winter/spring for the front office. Tons of work to do.

It's odd. I have this strange sense that the team both over and under achieved this season. Pitta's injury was huge. An inability to run the ball crippled the offense. The defense was better than last year but didn't generate enough turnovers or come up with the clutch stop when they needed it. The O-Line was dreadful.
They suffered some huge turnover on the roster yet still had hope until the last game to make the playoffs.
At the very least this organization will have a plan going forward.
