Sorry, Rick, can't stand Gus for something like this. Not knowledgeable enough, doesn't keep up with the passes (though has marginally improved there), and sounds like he keeps sticking his finger in a socket.

No need to apologize. Your points are fair.

Bayern finally lift the European Cup again after heartbreak defeats in the Final to Inter in 2010, and Chelsea in 2012 at the Allianz.

Incredible match. Awesome.
It really was. The standard of play throughout the match was just pure awesomeness to watch. I love the premier league, but that was far and away one of the most enjoyable matches I can remember watching (from neural point of view). Shame Dortmund could not keep of the the pace of play they had going the first half hour, as I think there is not a team in the world that could handle that. Well played (and deserved to Bayern) and to think Robben came just about that close to be the goat again.
One thing I do have to complain about though, Fox's analysis is just plain bad and annoying. NBC- please hire Bobby McMahon so I continue to hear him. He is as good of an analyst as there is.

Not as bad as last year. Note to City, if you want to stop getting in these groups, get out of the group stage for once. Of the English teams, Arsenal really got screwed. Tough tough group.

Immediately bites them, as Leverkusen equalizes. Did De Gea see nothing?

Leverkusen's shirts look sort of like DCU's. I wouldn't want to be confused with them....
