The Ringer: The Nuggets Weren’t Just Built to Win. They Were Built to Last.
The Nuggets have the Spurs feeling too them. They have 2 superstars surrounded by good players who fit the role. They also seem to be eyeing the future with current players and by adding draft capital. They have a good front office, a real good coach and young superstars. They were fun to watch and the best may be yet to come.

Well it obviously wasn't the most competitive Finals, but Jokic and the Nuggets play a very entertaining and pure form of basketball. Plus Spo is an excellent coach so I enjoyed the chess match. What a horrible Finals. Betting on it couldnt even make it interesting.
Storyline wise, not so great to be sure, though. Also no rooting against the big bad to spark interest.

This is not a slight on Denver or trying to diminish their title, but I can't remember a team winning it all facing an 8-seed, 4-seed, 7-seed and finishing with another 8-seed.

The Lakers and Heat were clearly much better in the playoffs than their seeds would otherwise suggest. These playoffs were much more wide open than usual though.
