So all-in-all, not the kind of performance we wanted to see against an inferior opponent?
First half depressing, effort better in the 2nd half right away.
Coach Turgeon pleased with the defensive effort... saying Marist missed a bunch of shots, but MD was in the right position... gave up too many 2nd chances though.
Said MD was a step quicker in the 2nd half, comes down to making shots... someone other than Jake... execution was better.

To second this, if we had seen two halves like the second, there wouldn't have been much complaining. Terps looked very sloppy and lacked all rhythm in the first 20. Players who should know better, like Wells, made terrible decisions. Can't do it against better teams.

I'm disappointed either way. Marist is truly horrendous, and we looked like complete garbage for about 75% of this game. Nothing good that happened in this game means anything, IMO.
It's one of those "little to gain" games -- you win, you're supposed to; you lose or don't perform well, you aren't happy.
