I was more discussing the rest of the regular season but I don't agree with you it's a no-win scenario in a bowl game. This is a team that hasn't played in a bowl game in three years, even if they play an inferior opponent, I don't look at as a no-win. I think the players will be excited to play in that game, won't look at as a throw-away. If we were playing in the Military Bowl or similar bowl game, 3-4 years in a row, I'd think it be more of a throw-away.

The rumored Military Bowl opponents we have seen are Middle Tennessee, North Texas, Texas State, and Marshall. Nobody anywhere is going to care or notice what MD does in that game, unless they lose.

It's so frustrating that the score should be 31-13 now and this game should be over for intents and purposes. 11 point lead isn't enough to put it away yet....defense needs to keep doing it's job.

Outside of Maryland (and the said opponent), sure. But that's going to be the case for many of the lower bowls anyways. I just don't think Maryland is "too good" for the Military Bowl and whatever opponent they draw.

Sure, but I think because we're just happy to be there at this point. It's different than it was against East Carolina. If they win out the final two games(including this one), I think fans won't be as happy to go to the Military Bowl. Think we're going to have to agree to disagree here in terms of the meaning of the potential game itself.
