Wonder how Weber is feeling about his comment that this is a "very watered down NBA".

Tough interview here. Audio cutting in and out.
Finishing being able to hear though.

Tough circumstances for sure, thought you handled it well though. I'm sure you wanted to take him to task on a couple of his answers though, but the connection issues made that tough. Not to mention, don't necessarily want to grill a guest either I guess.

Agree with Knoche - good question though, Mike. Think he'll definitely see more minutes, but won't be slated to be the 1 right away. Definitely an intriguing possibility sooner than later though.

Positive was Smotrycz's offense, but his defense was fairly brutal. He'll struggle against athletic teams in a big way.

Great question Mike. Interior defense figures to be a challenge.

Nah, not at all... just awkward a bit at times because his guest kept breaking up for a few seconds here and there. There were also some things I think Weber probably disagreed with but wasn't able to really follow up due to the connection issues. Thought Weber handled it well.

After MD got behind, they ditched the zone and went to more pressing and trapping.... Terps seem to have the athletes for that... ability to create offense from defense... would Chris like to see more?

What is he looking to see accomplished this week vs. Abiline Chrisitian and Oregon State... should win both obviously, but what needs to be accomplished before heading to the Virgin Islands?
