Maryland needs to finish no worse than 6th in the ACC to be a tourney lock, IMO.
I agree with you that the ACC is looking like the best conference this year -- dook, UNC and 'Cuse are all clearly better than the Terps but after that it's wide open IMO.
I wish that one guy, he was a UVA and GMU fan I think, posted here. He used to write amazing pre-season ACC capsules over on Foxhole.

Also, Stoner, very good write up.
I agree about the growing pains in the half court and with the shooting.
My biggest issue is -- these were both HUGE issues last year and it doesn't appear we've improved at either area (not sure how good a shooter Peters is).

Thanks Pedro. Think you were thinking of YardBirds? He was good. There were some other good Terps / ACC posters at OH that I'd like to hear from again. Danielos38 (registered here), BustaJ2632 (registered here), Markpolis, NuclearDish (registered here), Ruzious, Dr. FLK (registered here).
Regarding Peters shooting:

Yeah, the shooting and point issues are still concerns going into the season. I still think they're talented enough to be anywhere from 4-6 in the league. Agreed w/Pedro in that it's Dook/UNC/Cuse top 3.

This is an unreal write-up.

He had an O's blog, and I found his contact information. I'll be sending him an invite.
Actually, I've met him when he wound up working for the O's... and we traded a number of emails. Our mutual posting on OH never came up. I see he has moved on to another company, and has replaced a person who beat me out for a position with that company. Remember him being a good guy in our interactions. Hope to see him wind-up posting here.

Is he connected to Kevin Bacon?
