MJ was amazing...but he is obsessed with this and just needs to leave it alone.(even if he is asked about it)

Yes. But it is the most debated subject in the NBA since James had been declared King and the chosen one, and wore #23. Is it that Jordan is obsessed with it, or the media and fans are? I have no problem with Jordan answering a question even if he's answered it 100 times before.

Yeah it's likely not going away but MJ isn't doing himself any favors. As LeBron pointed out (and fairly obvious), we'll never truly know just like any of these debates that span the generations. One of the beauties of sports is being able to debate how LeBron compared to MJ and other greats. I do think Jordan is trying to protect his own legacy.

Gotta think LBJ would post him up.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

I don't know if he could have taken LeBron, but he would have put down $2.5 million on himself, for sure.

And likely something on LeBron, too. Just to be safe.

Jordan seems like he's a little insecure about his legacy. Says stuff like this all the time, Kobe stole his moves, players today wouldn't have been able to handle the physicality of the game before, etc. Comes across pretty poor, although if you've read some of the stuff on him, he's an absolutely ultra competitive guy that I think still struggles a bit with the fact that he can't be the best current basketball player in the world.

I used to hate on Lebron a lot, but in terms of most of the greats, which he is/will be, he's probably one of the most likeable.

His Hall of Fame speech was embarrassing to say the least...Very childish.

Seth is right, as is Adam.

It's almost like Jordan has to continue to remind people of his greatness.

We get it MJ..you were amazing.

But you are sounding like a bitter old school guy trying to yell loud enough so that we don't forget you.

Let's be honest, the LeBron is as good as Jordan stuff is more than just hype at this point...If we see it, you better believe Jordan sees it too. His ego can't handle it, it's just that simple.

It's tough for any pro athlete to be done by the time they're 40 and usually it's earlier. Having a shelf life sucks.

The problem is, he is a totally different player.

The argument, IMO, should be..is LBJ better than Magic.

Absolutely, there's no doubt LBJ is much more like Magic than Jordan.

and yes, he is (or at least will be when it's all said and done). With all due respect of course.
