Watch John Oliver's Message To Jack Warner That Aired On Trinidad TV

That's right, John Oliver recorded a specific segment addressed to Jack Warner and paid for airtime on Trinidad's largest TV station to broadcast it.

Jack Warner was not happy with the mittens of disapproval.

You would think someone who is so well versed on the exploits of The Onion would also be more familiar with Oliver's schtick. Color me surprised.

Nah... he's doing "The American is insultiing *all of us*! Be patriotic and take my side." schtick...

If our population is anything to go by, a bunch of his countrymen will fall for it...

Next thing you know, Lawrence Taylor will want to be the commissioner of the NFL.

Imagine Mickey Mantle as MLB commissioner.

Fifa president Sepp Blatter: I’m not corrupt and will go to heaven one day

Sepp Blatter has warned that anyone who associates him with the recent scandal at Fifa “should go to jail” and insisted that “he will go to heaven one day”.

"But if anybody calls me corrupt because Fifa is corrupt, I can only shake my head. Everybody who says something like that should go to jail."

Hahahahahahaha

Blatter would make a perfect Wall Street CEO when his time with FIFA is up.

I'm less concerned with whether he goes to heaven and more concerned with whether he goes to jail...

ProSoccerTalk: Sepp Blatter claims French and German presidents influenced World Cup voters

I have absolutely no doubt that this is likely accurate, if not 100% true. They weren't going to get the Cup so soon again, so why not support your nation's economic interests, damn the torpedoes?

Also:

Fiji smashes Micronesia 38-0…Yes, 38-0

Just as a reminder, Micronesia has the same vote in FIFA as Spain and Germany and China and the US.

Hey, look who's in charge of FIFA's reform committee...

FIFA’s head of reform defends Blatter, says soccer in U.S. is “an ethnic sport for girls in schools”

I swear when I saw the quote, before reading the story, I thought it was going to be Donald Trump.
