Games the next 3 days against local All-Star teams in the Bahamas. No Shaq Cleare, as the Bahamas native will be rehabbing a hamstring pull the next month plus.

Sucks that Shaq can not play in front of family and friends.

Washington Post: Seth Allen stars as Terps win 2nd game in the Bahamas.

Allen's health was one of the questions I had. For him to be performing in August alleviates all concern for me.

CSN Baltimore: Layman scores 25, Terps finish Bahamas trip undefeated

Layman had a great couple of days in the Bahamas.
This was part of a point I made last season. Turge's first season was a wash due to not having his players and not being able to recruit his own playing due to Gary's late departure. Last season I saw some growth as his players were in place and they were competitive even though some overshot expectations due to a light schedule into January.
Trips like these are crucial in developing team chemistry and trust among the staff and roster. That closeness translates on to the court. If players such as Layman and Allen take steps forward with Faust and Wells this could be a very good team next season.
