I feel like I just got punked. Expecting a nice basketball article and it's T-Bag's awful face on my screen!

Ha... sorry about that:

Apparently not. Stephenson goes to Charlotte for 3 yrs $27M.  That's a big loss for Indiana.

Paul George just suffered what seemed like a very serious lower leg injury while playing for team USA.

And that is the nail in the coffin for pros playing in the Olympics beyond '16.

Apparently the basket stand in Vegas is at least a foot closer to the baseline than in NBA arenas. That was probably the difference here.

It goes without saying anything can happen at any time, look how many non-playing injuries there have been in sports after all. However, when these things happen in "exhibitions" -- the Olympics, an All-Star game, a showcase, etc -- it seems a lot worse than it happening in a regular season game.

I remember when LeBron was going to play in the Capitol Classic, which I went to see Verizon to see him play and Terry Changuris (former football coach at Seneca Valley), advised against it because of what happened to Chris Kelley, when he played in one of those high school All-Star games. Yes, I know LeBron was insured and everything, but there would've been a lot of criticism if something happened then.

Even in the down East, I think they might finish outside of the Playoffs. Get lucky in the draft, could add another piece opposite of George.
