Washington Post: Maryland-Connecticut to tip-off at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 8, broadcast on ESPN2

Nov. 8 (6:30 p.m., ESPN2): vs. U-Conn. at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Nov. 22-25: Paradise Jam in U.S. Virgin Islands vs. Marist, Northern Iowa/Loyola Marymount and Providence/Vanderbilt/Morgan State/La Salle.
Dec. 4: at Ohio State.
Dec. 8: vs. George Washington at Verizon Center (BB&T Classic).
Late December: vs. Tulsa.
TBD home nonconference games: Oregon State, Morgan State.
The Maryland athletics web site also has a Dec. 1 home game against IUPUI listed. The Terps hosted the Jaguars on New Years Day last season.

Not really related to the substance of the article, but glad to see Patrick Stevens land on his feet.

 

Indeed, although it sucks that he couldn't stay in the area. No one covered DMV college sports better. He's a very good Twitter follow too (@D1scourse)....he still talks about the local schools there, and he interacts with his followers more than any media person I've followed.

Same thing happened to a CU beat writer in Boulder and he had to move to Oregon to get a job. It's a tough business especially now. I can't be too disappointed since he was able to find work even if it wasn't MD related. And yeah he's great interacting with the fans.

Full Schedule Released

 

Somewhat unbalanced towards the end. They play 4 of 5 on the road to begin Feb, including at UNC and Duke. Then they finish the season with 4 of 5 at home.
