Still to be ranked: Flacco, Brees, Manning, Rodgers, Ryan, Brady
Agree/disagree with his list so far?

I love Joe, but I wouldn't put him over Eli or Roethlisberger yet. Certainly wouldn't put Matt Ryan over those two either.

Agree that Schaub is too high...I would have Ben higher than Eli/Joe/Ryan.

If this is a "Going forward" list, would you?
I mean, Ben hasn't been great for a few years now, and just keeps getting hurt. Joe hasn't missed a snap (other than some mop-up duty for Tyrod).
If it's who's been the best so far on this list, then definitely Ben. If it's, assuming everyone on this list is 100% healthy all year, Ben is also higher. I just don't think that's an assumption I'd be willing to make at this point.

Yea probably...I guess it depends on how you define going forward.

You mean total career versus rest of career, right?

Ben could easily have a number of very good years left in him.
Not to mention, if Pitt goes back to running the ball more and their line stays healthy, he should be much more protected this year.

I can't believe he ranked Brandon Weeden over Christian Ponder.
I stopped reading the list after that.

Ponder is a complete bum. Weeden very well might be too but I have no problem with Weeden over Ponder.

Weeden actually looked really good against us last year. Ponder had a better line and a better RB it is kind of a toss up.

However, Weeden is 29.
However, Ponder went to Florida State.
Yeah, still a toss-up...

Going forward, I definitely put Flacco ahead of Eli and Ben.
But if it was going forward, I'd put him above Manning, Brady and maybe even Brees.
I just think this list is showing how much Jaworski loves Flacco and how he differs from the rest of the media pundits.

I think its just going forward into next year not the rest of their careers. So its a list based off of past performance but what they are going to do this year. Its funny as this list unfolds watching "Gasp" First Take and watching them squirm and wiggle because the guy they respect and admire is rating Flacco high and to quote them "I am uncomfertable with it but I have to listen to what Jaws says because he knows better then me"

It's a 2013 ranking list. To have Schaub as the #9 QB going into 2013 makes no sense at all. To have Flacco over Eli or Ben makes more sense than Schaub at #9.

These ranks are a little silly. If the Ravens lost in Denver, Joe's 14th or so. Ben might have been fifth last year, but since he got hurt this year (in the midst of another great year), he slides down. After Eli won his second Super Bowl, he'd be no lower than fifth or sixth. No one knows where to put Newton, Luck, RG3, Kaepernick or Wilson. They're dart throws. And so much of how these quarterbacks look and how their numbers stack up is dependent on scheme, personnel and environment that it's difficult to know if the seventh-ranked QB on the list would do better in Dallas than Romo. Or how much Romo would succeed in some place other than Dallas. I don't know, I suppose it's an exercise that gets the people going.

It is obvious Jaws places emphasis on winning as opposed to stats. and that is where Joe lands. The top 6 are now going to IMO,
Rodgers, Brady, Peyton, Brees, Joe, and Ryan, probably in that order. I have to admit I smiled a lot when Ben's name went up at 7. Kind of enjoying Joe being rated ahead.
In the end, it really means nothing but Jaws is a good listen, so it has been fun following this.
