Wish the Os would have this mentality.

I do too, but to be fair, the NBA it's a lot easier to have this mentality given how clear the competition is at the top and what you need to beat.
Baseball carries a much larger parity to it.
Also, if the O's were willing to hand out "max deal" equivalents to two top free agents in two consecutive years, that'd also be different. And that's not just "we're not good enough so we gotta overhaul" mentality if you ask me.
That being said, I love what Boston has done and I do wish the O's were more like them too. I just think it's a little apple to oranges, but still fair criticism.
