Kings getting all the opportunities. Feel like its only a matter of time until they score.
Henrik and Henrik alone can still win this series for the Rags. He's been phenomenal tonight.

He has but the Kings are treating full strength like its a power play. This recent attack by NY is the first one in a long long time.

Nothing Henrik could have done about that rebound. Right to the guy, wide open look.
Oh well. Glad New York didn't win.
Don't really care, I just wanted more hockey. That said, I was fine with the result.

ProHockeyTalk: Report: Outdoor game in Minnesota is ‘going to happen next year’
According to Michael Russo of The Star Tribune, the Minnesota Wild will not be hosting an outdoor game in the 2014-15 season, but will have one coming their way for the 2015-16 season.
Russo’s word from a NHL insider said the league tried to get a Stadium Series game against the Dallas Stars scheduled for the upcoming season in February at Target Field, but they weren’t able to get logistics figured out for other events (college and high school games) to be fit into the schedule.

Sabres use second compliance buyout on Christian Ehrhoff
As first reported by Bob McKenzie, the Sabres parted ways with Christian Ehrhoff on Sunday by buying out his contract. In order to be bought out, a player has to go through waivers but with his no-move clause, Ehrhoff could bypass that and just go right to the buyout, something that was necessary in this case as GM Tim Murray wasn't going to risk waiving Ehrhoff. He agreed to doing just that.
Ehrhoff is signed through 2021, only three seasons into the 10-year, $40 million contract he signed with the Sabres after leaving Vancouver. It was a contract that carried him into the eventual twilight of his career and perhaps past it, leaving the potential for a cap recapture penalty should he retire early.

Ridiculously funny... the Flyers fans have been getting it on Facebook today - especially from my Penguins fan friends. Mainly because Flyers fans are always going on and on about their thoughts about Syd Crosby's sexuality.

P.K. Subban and the Montreal Canadiens finally came to an agreement on a new deal that will keep Subban with the Habs for the next eight seasons.
In fact, the new annual average of $9 million makes Subban the highest-paid defenseman in the league, easily eclipsing the salary of Shea Weber ($7.857 million) among rearguards. The new amount also makes Subban the third highest-paid player for the 2014-15 season based on cap hit behind only Alex Ovechkin and Evgeni Malkin.
Good for him. Dude is an absolute monster.

ESPN: Sharks, Kings to play Feb. 21
The NHL announced Wednesday that the Pacific Division foes will meet at the 49ers' new home in Santa Clara on Feb. 21. The $1.2 billion Levi's Stadium beat out the San Francisco Giants' cozier confines at AT&T Park for the game, which is part of the NHL's growing Stadium Series.
While the Giants' waterfront ballpark offered dramatic backdrops of the Bay Bridge and San Francisco skyline for television viewers, the league chose the 49ers' digs because football stadiums typically offer better sightlines, more flexibility on the rink's configuration and the ability to host a larger crowd.
Renzulli said that AT&T Park, which holds about 42,000 fans, could still host an NHL game the next time the Sharks bid in a year or two.
Tortora said the larger Levi's Stadium will help lower the average price of a ticket, which he said will cost $150. He said 67 percent of the tickets will be at or below that price and the team is not concerned about selling out the venue.
