Kind of a rough situation. Thanks KA! That being said, do you see Turgeon accepting a lesser tournament even if we did have the money?

Did you see Turgeon's quote about the lesser tournaments? He said something to the effect of, "the CBI requires you to pay in for games, and our finances don't really let us do that, so we can't play those tourneys."

Plenty of things to hang on KA, but the finances of the department are not one of them. Though I do agree that KA and the University should have a found a way to pay for the CBI (should Turgeon have wanted to play, which I believe he would have).

You're right - it's more Yow's fault. KA just kept the snowball rolling.
I probably would have liked the guys to get a couple more games under their belt as well. Oh well, here's to next year.
