I like the Spurs in 7.

Will be interesting to see how Wade looks Thursday. If he plays like he did tonight every game during the Finals, that would probably be enough for Miami to win in 6. I just have doubts he will be that consistent.

Huge lay-off for the Spurs. How long does it take them to shake the rust off?

I'm with you, Chris. Spurs in 7. Spurs are a veteran team that could have used the rest. I think they'll be fine relatively quickly. Maybe a quarter or two of rust.

It's all about Wades knee.

Miami in 5 or 6..probably 6.

Huge disadvantage in the 2-3-2 format for road team.

Miami in 5. The Pacers series was a wake up call.

SA doesn't have the rim protector like Indiana. Splitter and Duncan just aren't the same guy as Hibbert. Miami should and I think will really turn up the pressure on San Antonio.

For all the talk about Wade and bosh being bad, Ginobili has been really bad for SA. There is no way SA can win if Ginobili doesn't find his game.

Bottom line, as I've been saying all along, I think Miami matches up better with SA. Not only that, but Wade and Bosh and most of the reliable role players can't be as bad as they've been for most of the Indiana series.

Miami in 5 or 6. I'll be surprised if this series goes 7 games.

Miami in 6.

Manu found his game a bit vs the Grizz.

The Spurs are a much tougher match up offensively, but definitely aren't as good defensively.

I'll go Miami in 6.

I expect the Spurs will push them. If Miami can summon up the energy they gave tonight (meaning everyone but LBJ), they would win any series in 4. The Spurs are a veteran squad, trying to make one last run together with this group, and even though Spo is a good coach, they're guaranteed to be the better coached team. Pop will have them ready, and while I think a week + for most teams to not play would be a bad thing, I think its good for them. Pop has probably put together a great game plan and they will all be well rested. Ginobli and Wade will be key.

NBA relieved Miami did indeed win. I can't imagine they would've been too happy if Indiana won. Just like the Yankees, you want them there, root against them in the Finals all you want, but they are there, interest is up!

Very True, if Stern was saddled with Indy and SA as his last finals, the nation would have seen the old NBA commish cry.  I was surprised we did not see Joey Crawford and Bennet Salvador ref last night.

As for Miami/SA, I hope I am wrong but I see the Heat in 6.  Like others, I see the 2-3-2 favoring the Heat big, plus no answer for James.

Pop has had a week and a half to scout so it will not be as lopsided as some are predicting.

Only the NHL employs the 2-2-1-1-1 for their sport Finals. Personally, I like this format much more. It could definitely be used in the NBA, since they have the Tues-Thur-Sun format to begin with. Not exactly realistic in baseball with the lack of off-days.

Btw, neither Wade or Bosh were any good at scoring in the flow of the offense last night, they just did a great job on the glass and stepped it up defensively. So it will be important for them to step it up on offense and we still haven't seen a ton that suggests that's likely.
