I like these sponsored game threads. It's so much better than having a stream of ad's running down the side of the page and on the front and bottom, and all over the damn place. I think it's a creative way to have sponsors, without ruining the character of the site.

Agree. Plus, I feel like most people don't even look at ads on the sides of pages. At least I know I don't. The last two games I've caught myself reading the title of the page and going, "huh that's kinda cool they're advertising by thread."

Yeah, I'm going to check into them managing my wealth.
Checking bank account....nevermind.

Haha. Social Security and retirement planning KILL me every two weeks. I always think about what could have been....
There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Heading down now to pregame before first pitch. If you chumps are lucky you might get a blitzed Pedro post-game cameo.

Scherzer dominated last night I see Verlander doing the same today. I just hope they can run up his pitch count and get him out by the 7th and go at that Detroit bullpen.

I went to the game in July that Verlander pitched at Camden Yards and he was absolute dominant. I feel good about this game, but it could be tough. Verlander is about a run better per game during the day and is 7-0 career against the O's, with 5 of those coming at Camden Yards.
Just hope Hammel can match him.

Shit, like it won't happen.

Nice backhanded play by Hardy in the hole to get Infante.
Looks to be another nice crowd, and I'm sure many are still finding their seats.

This is some major hyperbole concerning MCab.

Wow I thought Prince got that one, but I guess it was off the end of the bat. Shallow fly ball and we're headed to the bottom of the 1st.

You're just too in love with Trout to see it. (is what BNick would've said)
Haha. In this case, it's more about my love of Frank Thomas as well as the work that went into putting together my top 20 baseball players of my lifetime list. That and my knowledge of players before my time makes me laugh at some of those comments they were making.
Make no mistake, though, Miguel is a tremendous hitter.
