The Falcons are headed in the wrong direction and won't play home in almost a month.

I think the Ravens win this one relatively comfortably.  Falcons on the road and with their O-line issues are definitely ripe for a beating.  Not a blowout, but a 10-point win seems likely to me.

It feels that way to me.

Injuries on the offensive line, problems in their secondary and with their defense in general.

The Ravens should win by 10 or more.

Yep. The Falcons are not good. They have Matt Ryan & Julio but that's about it. Their O-line is dreadful, their defense is an embarrassment, and they have very little running game. Also they stink when they're not playing in a dome.

I'll take the Ravens big.

Vegas has us as 7 point favorites, and I would think it will likely be a double digit win. Atlanta just has too many issues on the OL and on defense.

My only worry is that they are going to be pretty desperate for a win, and their strength is in the passing game which is unfortunately the Ravens biggest weakness right now. Whether or not the Ravens can generate a consistent pass rush will be critical IMO.

Eugene Monroe or Kelechi Osemele not practicing today, looking like the rookies James Hurst and John Urschel will start again

I wonder if they will let Smith trail Julio Jones?  I think it'd be a good test in case Green is back in the game against Cinci in two weeks.

If Hill is everything they say he is, he'll also make that much more manageable as they can move him around based on where Jones lines up as well.

Falcons next to last in total defense...  have trouble stopping the run. Run the ball, control the game... keep the ATL offense off the field. In Atlanta I could see it being a game late... at home, the Ravens should win this fairly comfortably.

Even though they were fine last week, I worry about Urshel and Hurst side by side again. It seems like TB refused to really pressure that side of the line like Ind did. I still feel like they can be absolutely exposed. Especially, Hurst.

How did each grade out in the TB game??

I just read that the Ravens have scored on 47.7 % of their offensive drives this year. That leads the NFL. Let that sink in. And there has still been some injuries and inconsistencies. Room for improvement. Again, bravo to this offensive staff.

The Ravens are second in DVoA, Atl is 13th.

Atl's defense is terrible....we should be able to score.

Agree our Oline could be an issue but Atl's poor defense likely will make this less of an issue.

Atl does have a good offense and could potentially exploit our secondary but you don't have to worry about the run game, so we can drop more guys back in coverage.

Falcons will lose a "mid-round" draft pick for fake crowd noise, per Yahoo Sports.

Meanwhile, the Patriots receive nothing for deflating footballs.

The Atlanta Falcons have officially waived linebacker Prince Shembo after he was charged with felony animal cruelty on Friday, the team announced. Shembo was charged in Gwinnett County, Georgia,  as first reported by Zach Klein of WSB-TV Atlanta. The second-year player allegedly kicked and killed his girlfriend's dog.
