I'm assuming he'd have to sit out a year? Don't know much about him, but he doesn't seem like a legitimate PG and he doesn't exactly light it up from outside the 3.

Heard potentially available this coming year. MD apparently in his Final 2.

I'm lukewarm on adding this guy. We definitely still need bullets, but we don't really need a crappier version of Terrell Stoglin.
If Turgeon thinks he can get him to be effective without being such a volume shooter, then that helps. He's clearly got talent, but a 38-40% shooting 2-guard isn't our biggest need.

Yah, more brick layers. Listen, the guy can apparently score but yeah Stoglin-lites are far from an ideal need right now.

Sounds like a religious movement - Stoglinanites.

One thing I will say, is this team does really need players who can score in the half court. Wells and Faust are very good in transition, but nobody on the squad really is capable of creating their own shots out of the half court set. Maybe Allen will develop this a bit more next season. But if this guy can create his own shots, that is something that nobody else on the team really can do, and would be a very desired skill. But we will need him to be able to make those self-created shots more than one out of three.

Carter chose Florida. I was "meh" about getting him anyway. I think Barton could a better addition as a short-term option for PG, and he sounds seriously interested.

We could've used the injection of scoring, but I'm not too upset about missing out on this guy. I'm not sure he was a great fit, even though he would've been one of the handful of better players on the team. We need a PG more than a volume shooter.

I really was not high on using a scholarship on Carter but if Donovan wants him, he is probably better than some are goving him credit for.
I like the idea of Barton.
More of a need and does not take a ship away for 2014.
