But not logical if winning is the goal.

I don't know that I agree.

Atlanta and Carolina don't figure to be that good.

TB can compete with NO.

Get to the playoffs and then roll the dice.

I might agree that there are more 'good' teams in the NFC; but I don't think his path to a Super Bowl would be any easier with the Colts.

He's got good weapons with the Bucs.  Depends how much he has left in the tank.

They’ll be 8-8. Brady wanted a payday and to be close to the beach for Giselle Instagram photos I guess.

Arians, however, likes the downfield passing game, which isn't Brady's strength at this point.

That was what I was thinking. Maybe Brady gets exposed for being a system QB. Maybe Arians works with Brady to write the playbook he wants.

Hope the real fallout is Belichick gets exposed for riding Brady’s coattails for 20 years and the Pats win less than 5 games.

With 7 team playoffs now, I think they stand a great chance to get into the playoffs.

I think his chances of getting the only bye were greater with Indy vs TB. But again, maybe Indy wasn’t somewhere he wanted to go.

He didn’t have many options. As great as Brady has been, only 2 teams pursued him. He likely figures to prefer to not have to beat out Mahomes and the Chiefs right now, so he chose TB.

Well, he willl be 43.

If he struggles this year, it doesn’t mean he’s a system QB.

Every quarterback is a system quarterback to some degree or another.

Each team has its own system regardless of whether they drafted a quarterback they believed fit the system they had installed, or they built said system to accommodate the individual talents of their quarterback (like, say, the Ravens).

Hell, Joe Montana had Bill Walsh as a coach and Jerry Rice to throw to, but I don't ever remember anyone calling him a "system" quarterback. To me, it's largely a myth.

Deal still not done. Only teams that wanted him were LA & TB.

And physicals are hard to do now with the Coronavirus.

I just mean it as the last handful of years Brady has gotten by on dumpoffs to guys in open space, and Gronk being a monster. We haven’t seen him on another team, unlike guys like Manning and Favre, Montana to a degree, who went elsewhere and elevated the guys around them regardless of the head coach.

Arians likes to air it out a lot, and deep. If Brady goes there and throws 40+ times a game all of a sudden, and the results are poor...well, it doesn’t really matter. It just means other guys have been bigger risk takers with the ball and more successful. Manning, Favre, Brees in that conversation.

I did see on the NFL Network crawl Brady & TB agreed to a doctor for a physical. Could be signing soon.

Apparently vet players are calling up Tampa telling them they want to play for the Bucs.

They need RB help.

Look for Gordon or Gurley to end up there imo.

Gordon makes more sense for the Bucs.

Have to wonder about Gurley's health longterm.

Well Gurley is a Falcon now, so it has to be Gordon.

Dion Lewis was cut by Tenn, so I expect him to wind up in TB.

TB's OL is a downgrade from NE so that will be the biggest factor.

Gurley was not out of work long.  Maybe a change of scenery will do him good, but the knee problems are not going to go away.

Helps the Skins though, is there a team that needs Trent Williams more right now?
