Buck has talked about getting home and basically being on the road for 3 months now. Mid Feb through mid April with only one 3 game homestand. They are def a little flat and lack some energy right now. Considering that, a 3-3 road trip was't the worst thing in the world.

That speaks to my feeling about this game...They're just ready to be home again for a bit. However, it should be Buck's job to get this team "up" and rockin' and rollin' for one more game before they get on the late-night train home tonight. No excuses...those are for the 1998-2011 Orioles' teams...

Joe Angel says the scorer has "come to his senses" and took away the Machado error. Chen now has one more earned run.

Is he doing schtick, or does he really mean that?

He really means it. He was really ticked off when they scored that an error.

I was pumped for this game and that was so un-rewarding. Jesus.
Just a really bad weekend of baseball. Blowing our load with all the solo home runs was fun yesterday, but it was Phil Hughes. We should have won 2/3 at a minimum. Yankees will get healthy at some point too.

Joe was incorrect about the earned run. That play came after Gardiner's homer. I'm guessing Joe thought that that baserunner had scored.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

That was the worst the lineup has looked all year.

Sorry for my profanity laced rant earlier. I'm pissed though, that was a bad performance. Only 150 games left!
