He cited advice he received from the late Bo Schembechler, that "if you try to stay the same you end up getting worse."

I wonder how this quote can be attributed to the Orioles:
One difference I would say is that with no cap, it makes things different between the 2 sports...Also, the Orioles have a lot of young players that have upside..so, there was at least some reason, in certain positions, not to spend money.
