3/10 MD at UVA

However, Virginia has been unpredictable all year as well, with a considerable amount of losses to RPI 100+ teams.
It will be interesting to see how 'hungry' MD looks. Would be nice to win, and finish .500 in league play.
Both MD and FSU are tied for 6th in the ACC at 8-9, but FSU has the 2 head-to-head wins. FSU plays NCST today.
If MD finishes 7th, it looks like they would face 10th seed Clemson in the 1st round of the ACCT. If they were to win that game, they would face the 2nd seed - currently Duke - in the 2nd round.
If MD finishes 6th, it looks like they would currently face 11 seed Wake Forest. If they were to win that game, they would face the 3rd seed currently UNC.

I think it's actually better if they are the #6 seed and can win tomorrow. My rationale is a win over Duke in the 2nd round, would be better than a win over UNC to get into the Tourney. That might not be enough, but just playing the best case scenario game. With how MD has played on the road all season, including the recent losses vs. BC and GT; I certainly don't expect a Terps win at Virginia tomorrow.

Then you are hoping they are the 7th seed, right?

I think that's a good thing in the scheme of things, but I don't think it will matter much anyways.Florida State just beat NCST, finishes 9-9 in ACC play. Will have the higher seed over MD, even if the Terps win tomorrow.

Hopefully they'll play spoiler.Virgina, at home, on the bubble, I don't see Maryland winning this one. Would be nice to see some more inspiring play as they enter the ACCs though.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty
