Does reading that article make anyone else a little hesitant about offering McKinnie a new contract?

It won't take a ton of money to resign him. There is a decent number of left tackles available in free agency, so this won't be a position where demand is drastically higher than the supply. Plus McKinnie really only played a handful of games last year, even if they were playoff games.
I expect he'll get another contract that is very similar to the first one he signed here. I'd think something in the 2/$10M range with $3-4M of that guaranteed. Maybe a bit more, but probably not. I do think that they will bring him back, and given the alternatives, I think they pretty much have to unless his price climbs significantly higher than that for some reason.

I would like to bring him back but I am hesitant because no Reed and Ray could mean he has no one there to motivate him and have his back the way they did.Does reading that article make anyone else a little hesitant about offering McKinnie a new contract?
