Syriana.

Haven't seen this in a good little while, forgot how good it is. Also has one of my favorite movie quotes in it.

Lemme get two claps and a Ric Flair

Just watched Prisoners with Jackman and Gyllenhal. Very good, intense.

Taking the wife to the movies this evening. Neither of us has seen The Wolf of Wallstreet or American Hustle...which is best?

You tell me. I'm going to the movies Thursday. I'm between Wolf and Anchorman 2.

I mentioned it in passing in the NFL forum, but I think more people need to know that this exists:

End of the year, time for top 10 lists. Obviously still a ton of movies to see before it's complete but post your lists here. I'll probably check back in the spring for a more definitive look at the year. Even so far it's been a great year for film. 1. 12 Years A Slave 2. Gravity 3. Mud 4. The Place Beyond the Pines 5. Before Midnight 6. Prince Avalanche 7. Post Tenebras Lux 8. A Hijacking 9. Side Effects 10. Upstream Color

I have missed so many movies so far this year I can't even come up with a top 10 list of movies I've seen.

So far I'd wager Captain Phillips as the best.

A Good Day to Die Hard is the worst.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

I missed them when they came out, but I watched "Jobs" and "Parkland" over the past few nights. Both really great films. Loved them both.

I'm sure it will have some hokey Hollywood parts, but looks interesting if they tell the story right.

One of my friends I went with last night said it may be hard to stop viewing JLaw as crazy moving forward (Silver Lining/American Hustle). I disagree, but thought it was an interesting point.

Anyone seen The Hobbit yet?

I saw this a couple of days before Christmas.  There were still changes/deviations from the book that I didn't like and/or get the reason behind but this was definitely a much better film than An Unexpected Journey.

Bottom 5: 1. Scary Movie 5 2. R.I.P.D. 3. Safe Haven 4. Texas Chainsaw 5. A Good Day To Die Hard
