This will be a new segment starting...now!
I will be writing about 3 players at a time, and plan to keep this rolling throughout the season.
This is my way of exposing lesser-known players and also keeping some info around on them at the same time.
Hope you guys enjoy.

Trying to catch up on some of the articles you guys have written today, so just now getting to this. Good stuff Tucker, I'll look forward to these going forward. Always nice to get a glimpse of the 'other guys' in the system.
Thanks Adam.
Probably will write another one of these this weekend if I find the time.

I was there on Opening Night as well.
Veloz is best described as raw. I agree that the kid isn't a third baseman and he butchered his first ground ball chance on Monday. He does show some power.
I liked Vader. He still needs plenty of fine tuning and needs to work a bit quicker for my taste.
Great stuff as always.

Thanks Matt.
Vader is definitely a little slow on the mound, as anything in the 1.50+ delivery time range is just not good. Most pitchers in short season are going to have that same struggle though for the most part.

Veloz, any major league chance there? Is he recpetive with the coaches working on footwork or do you see just a first basemen with maybe only a chance to dh?
Thanks nice wrtie up I have been trying to follow Veloz since we signed him.

Thanks.
Veloz has a LONG way to go before he ever makes the majors. There is ability there, but he has a lot of work left and he isn't the most athletic guy. I have heard mixed results on his work ethic, etc. He's a young kid so I tend to throw some of the negative stuff out the window. Hell, I was a know-it-all at 18 too.
I really think he's just not good enough for the hot corner. I think his best interest is to move off of it and work solely on hitting.
